Team Finland
The International Snowdrop Collective is a snow and ice art group founded in 2019 in Rovaniemi, Finland, by Miia Mäkinen, Johanna Kurpat, and Henna Timlin. Since its inception, the collective has created stunning snow and ice art for private events, public festivals, and international competitions.
Team Germany #2 Subzero art collective
Since 1999, the Subzero Art Collective has been creating monumental snow and ice installations across the globe, representing Germany at international snow sculpting symposiums. This non-profit group, founded by a German industrial designer, brings together a dynamic team of international artists, designers, and architects.
Their sculptures, carved from the most fleeting of natural materials—snow—serve as a striking reminder of nature's transitory beauty. Subzero's installations explore themes of ephemerality, with each piece existing only briefly before succumbing to the elements. Accompanying photographs document these works in their fleeting perfection, preserving their legacy even as they vanish.
